I just couldn't let it go.. It is an Original dutch registerd Ami 8 from 1970... It still has got the front slide-windows but surprise it has already disk-brakes in the front, must be 1 of the first with disks I guess. So today when i saw that it has disks on it I wanted to have, it. It stood at Marktplaats (dutch fleymarket) asking price was 750 euro. I offerd him a bitt less and now it's almost mine.... I love the old Curry-color, it's so '70tis Now the down side..... I don't know if the engine runs... and it needs about 3 weeks of welding, but I think I doesn't need a whole floor/sills, it will be patchwork here and there..... It has got black sky seats (drivers seat 1 little tear) but otherwise like new.... It has all the Original booklets with it, so overall I'm very happy with it. In my mind is already, the new tax-payment here in Holland, so it will be free forever including LPG as long as the governement allows.............

It didn't do 100.000 km (but I forgot to look how much it did). It is the only existing Original Dutch registered one in this color, how about that.....

You bought it in Veulen? That is not so far from where we live. Good luck with the restoration and please keep it as original as possible ! I owned a red-one , a break in 1977/1980 . Should have kept it ...... 98-TU-82 by geert1953, on Flickr

@chrisw yes it will stay as original as possible, maybee polyster backwings but thats about it.. and I will probably put LPG it..... and ofcourse my ignition. Did almost 20km/l yesterday driving about 90/100kmh
@jack-Dyane Thanks I like it very much too (at least till I really know what must be done to get MOT)
@Geert I've had a red ami super break a green metalic super break a '69 berline a 8 service tolee (ex Rabobank Kerkrade) (still got the sidepanels!!) a white 6 berline (Creatione Bertone) it is buyable as a postcard (thats the cars I still remember)
And I have still the unique Ami 6 service 4x4 and a fully restored bordeaux red ami 6 from febr '63.......
