They sit beautifully on the upper dash shelf, just inside the vent flap.

As for the holders you already have, I assume you mean the wire clips which fold out? One of the ones on our car has always worked perfectly, and one was always a bit rubbish. I found it was improved hugely by bending the V shaped bit which hooks onto the window inwards very slightly, so it's pointing back towards the car a bit more, if that makes any sense?

Those wire holders are crappy for a van. Where the last guy used them on mine there are dents ands crapes when the doors are opened where they hit the bits that stick out on the rear.

Annoying, would be interested in those rubber ones though but the facebook link didn't work for me.

Yeah, Luke one of these holders works properly, the other doesn't, although they seem to be perfectly manufactured.
I'll follow all these tips, expecting that at least one works... ;)
Thanks

Thats one of the [few] disadvantages of a Dyane [over a 2CV] .... yer cant open the window wide ennuff to hang yer arm outa a Dyane .....wot one [me :!: ] really wanted [when I had a Dyane] was a wind down window ...[ala Acadiane] ....sadly,they were as rare as rockin' horse poo even then.

And .... :P I dont wanna enter/start or participate in a Dyane V 2cv debate,so write yer complaints on a £10 [tenner] and post 'em to me ...@ "Terry,No 1 at the end of the bar,Terry's Local,Rotherham" .... :P
