   |   Nasty noise coming from rear armCan't stand it any longer... there's a horrible chafing/rubbing sound coming from my left rear suspension arm. Well that area anyway. I've had a look underneath but there's nowt obvious. All knife edges/axle bolts have recently been greased so I'm guessing its non of them. Anything more than a tiny bump and the noise will be there. When you bounce it up and down with hands on rear wing, its as if you can feel it, so guessing its something to do with bodywork catching or rubbing against something? Can't seem to find it though. Anywhere I should be looking where there isn't a lot of clearence? I get so wound up with it I think I'll end up crashing into a tree in anger soon. Any advice?
 Cheers

   |   Re: Nasty noise coming from rear armCheers for the advice, although doubt its the spring can. I do veggie oil em regularly and its coming more from the back I think. Have a feeling it'll be one of the things Sean suggested, probably arm bearing. Ima jack it up this weekend and check it doesn't waggle or anything. Anything else I should be looking for to narrow it down? _________________

Do you put it in and rotate the cans covering the spring ?
