But if you dont mind me crashing the thread...its the hole in the middle of the flywheel depending on age youll have either a plain bronze bearing or a needle roller. A squirt of grease for the needle and the bronze was supposed to sit submerged in oil for a few hours but a squirt of grease wont do it any harm either.

Thanks Sean - okay, I know what you mean by the hole in the flywheel - it's a late 70's M28 - so this is to lubricate where the input shaft sits???
