New Seats.
Purchased some GRPs seats.
Did a trial fit, will give just enough room for the seat belt stalk
Need to fabricate a new frame,still using the 2CV runners.
As they are Bum shaped, there will be a bit more comfort.

Shiny New Seat

Start with - Love your work. Can I ask if you have diff locks or means to lock one wheel at a time or 2 etc to get power to go to the wheel where there is grip?

@ChrisW
Thanks for the feedback.

I’m using Citroen GS boxes, front and rear, no diff-locks.
Have got line-locks on each wheel, which works on the drive way….
GS ABS blocks with direction reversed.

The future?
As the GS diff is a bit bigger, than the 2CV, it may be possible, to do a “plated” differential (Not ATB).
See http://www.davemacprops.co.uk/gripper.html.
Plan a visit with a diff and see if it can be done??? £££

I have drivven with those kind of locks... I find them scary (on a hilux)... Comming in unexpected on road use when cornering. Making the car going straighr insted of making a corner..

@Geo,
Its just manual.
Push the brake pedal.
Switch the power to the appropriate valve/solenoid. (That locks the wheel.)
Release the brake pedal.

Then drive away... And switch the power off.

Ps
The new LR/RR Evoque have very clever system doing this in auto mode.

I mean those automatic grip lockers. A friend of mine had them in his 4x4 trophy racecar... They come in unexpected on road use. But in the terrain they are awesome.

Thanks for taking time for reply - Having that set up is great.
Been looking at Panda 4x4 and they have the ABS to lock the wheels that are spinning and helps a simple little car get places it shouldn't.

As the sun was out it was warm enough to make a bit of progress on the new seat mount.
3mm Aluminium bent up with a hole for the bottom of the GRP seat.
