 Re: LGY 275P Rises Again!
Hey Matt, have you tried fitting those spacers yet? I was just thinking the other day that I should check if they'd worked out OK, seeing as I didn't get to see them before they were posted to you. Also interested if the studs you found were going to work.

nice, project! i just looked into it, not reading everything, maby later. how is the car doing right now? if you need any parts / got questions pm me. it is basicly the same car is i had before i started to tune the engine.
are you useing a 1300cc gsa ECO engine? with the electronic ignition? i had some problems with that at first but then it runs like a charm, easy going way out the rpm gauge i got. [ a jaeger that goes to 8000rpm ] it only drinks alot then =[

Cheers mate,
Got most of it sorted, apart from the inside need to re do the dash dials etc, fit the roll cage, and get a working engine.. The car has a 1220cc in at the mo, which is being a pain in the arse the other 3 r all 1300cc.x3 engines think they are all Eco ones although not sure how to check that though?!?!
Got a quick question for you joey what clutch cable did you use??
Love the supercharge/fuel set up did get it all made up or brought it from a company?? If so I ask rough how much did it cost??

Love the supercharge/fuel set up did get it all made up or brought it from a company?? If so I ask rough how much did it cost?? you can check that by the motorcode. i have used a ami super clutch cabel, but i also used the ami super gearbox. but i had so much trouble getting the power on the road. so now im planning to convert it to 4wd and 5 speed. also have been thinking about rearwheel drive only so i can smoke up some tires =D. i got all the parts myself for the supercharge/carbs. soon going to make some new inlet manifold for the carbs [ they are weber 40 idf's ] the supercharger i bought it at a company over here, where i work with sometime's. i got really lucky because someone had 2 of those mounted on a v8 but wanted someting more powerfull. the one i have only ran for 400km. so it is as good as new. and in only needed to pay 150 euro's. i can buy some others with only some transport dammage on the housing for around 650 euro's. they are new. but then you still would need many other things, like a custom made pully to fit the compressor. inlet manifold's ect.

 Re: LGY 275P Rises Again!
Finally I venture out into the garage and get a few things started again And I have some pics aswell, there are nowt special but they might do it for some of you First some tool porn, bought this bad boy just to undo the fan bolt.. What a pig but it did the trick though!! Attachment:

Next started pulling one of the now 4 engines I have, and started to build up one of the others, going to bench test it first before it goes anywhere near the car!! Attachment:

Top one good one, bottom one shite one, been useful for bits though... Just about to send the carb and inlet manifold off to get ultrasonic'd cleaned as they are in a right state!! Was also thinking whilst its out getting the fly wheel lightened aswell, but seems to be pretty light already!! So don't think I'll bother!! Then for joolz benefit have had a go at fitting the spacers, ran into problems though, the long stud I have found fits perfectly, spacer just doesn't seat down properly, will need to get the spacers drilled out at the bottom so the bottom of the stud will seat up against the hub nicely... And the holes need opening up by a fraction aswell.. Attachment:

 Re: LGY 275P Rises Again!
Good to see some action. I've had one of these spacers cut for myself now, and have just been having a play with it over the weekend. I was going to warn you that they were a bit tight on the studs, if I do any more I'll add a fraction to the hole diameter.

 Re: LGY 275P Rises Again!
Its about time I hear you cry, yes mine r a bit too tight, I've just given them to a friend to open them out at the bottom and open up the holes a fraction... Should be back middle of next week...
Got a few new engine bits on order aswell, and once the spacers come back, it will be time to strip down the front hubs and fit those big old studs!!
