I tried to be smug and start the Acad after being stood in the winter weather for 2 weeks, sadly the battery had died in the interrim, 'twas down to 10v. Smug vid, turned into yah booo and sucks vid, (Click on the pic for the very boring video). Still at least I had a new battery ready to go in.

I started the Cote d'Azur and cleared all the snow off it, just to make sure it was still under there. I was gratified to note that it fired up on both cylinders almost immediately, despite being sat out there for two weeks, four days of that being under eight inches of snow.

Company car was collected Monday and Acadiane pressed into daily service.
Window washers packed up last week.
Motor wasn't pumping very strongly, so went to halfords on Sunday who had a selection of generic wiper motors in the sale bin. New motor on, washers worked, lovely!
Yesterday I go to work, they don't work again. I forgot to do anything about it last night.
Realised the window washers weren't working due to a lack of a non-return valve.
I now no longer have to spray water out of an old Evian bottle whilst turning on wipers and wallowing up the road.
Consumed more screenwash than I'd like by sucking through to get rid of all the air bubbles.

Re: What did you do with your A Series today?
Finally got my dynamo and fitted it. First big test drive since buying it last month. So took a trip to the MOT test centre to book him in for his Control Technique tomorrow morning. Then on to the Supermarket. Everything seemed to work fine, no leaks, lights working and engine purring. Managed 65 Kph on the flat coming home, will take a GPS tomorrow to check the relative speed. But that was a 25 Km round trip in pouring rain, no issues at all Happy for now.... will see what the nice man at the test centre says in the morning. Attachment:
