Still fitting the new adjusters to the drum backplate off the old Dyane. Every so often, I give it a few knocks with the hammer and the special tool as I walk past. The white one has now sat out on the road since before Christmas ... must get out theree and drive it at least around the block. It's in line for a steering rebuild when the beige one finally comes off the drive. I've also got three guitars to rebuild and a house which needs quite a bit of work. And a job.

Took delivery of a freshly overhauled engine, fitted new shock absorbers, a pair of king pins and new drive shaft gaiters. Sent a gearbox off for overhaul. With thanks to Rick Pembro and his mobile workshop.

Re: What did you do with your A Series today?
Noticed rear offside indicator wasn't working. Tried to remove the light cover, but in doing so sheared one bolt and knackered the other's cross head. Eventually managed to get the cover off - only to discover that the indicator wasn't working because the connector (inside the boot) had been disconnected. Triggered a bad bout of tourettes! Rear light cover now held in place with very stylish length of heavy duty Gorilla tape.

Carefully dismantled, cleaned, refurbished and then re-assembled the fuel/charging gauge unit from the acad, only to realise that i probably should've taken a load of pictures and made a how-to I do believe i have another hidden away in the depths of the garage if anyone would be interested in me doing one?

Drove it to work (Cote d' Azur), first time it's moved in about a month.

Used it to pop down to Pershore to visit my mother in hospital. Had the hood fully open on the way there and back
