Re: What did you do with your A Series today?
A comment lifted from a discussion where someone was wondering if or when the exclusion zone around the stricken Fukushima Daiichi site would be extended from 20 km out to 75 km radius. “As a general clarification, ounce for ounce, coal ash released from a power plant delivers more radiation than nuclear waste shielded via water or dry cask storage.” This is like saying you’re more likely to get bitten by a dog running loose in the park than by a tiger locked up in its cage. It’s a true enough statement until the tiger gets loose..." smyth602 wrote: Dyane61976 wrote: Forgot to say they are not light bulbs but the local people who live near nuclear plant GLOWING in the dark. Re: What did you do with your A Series today?
I could discuss for hours the tragic happens in Japan because 1. My wife is Japanese and her family still lives there and 2. I used to live there... The way the Japanese government lied to the people about how safe it was after the explosion is crazy. Luckily our family lives 200kms away but they still found radiation in the green tea grown right on the hill above the house. My wife and children normally go back every year to visit but last year they did not go back because of the problems...
