Probably on its original set of points too - time and decay seem to slow down in sleepy rural france :lol:

Thanks - thats the one - never see them either. Its strange how some cars are kept and others are lost in time. I can think of lots of nice cars from the past that have been lost or very few exist...

went to the shops last night , coming back the diplights failed :(
so today i removed that dreaded dim-dip system {1987 d-lly}
i found that the 5 pin relay had melted a bit on term 5 and was corroded too the relay still worked ok on the bench though :lol:
anyway i linked 1+5 on the base and removed the other relay +disconnected the resistor, it only too abt an hour to do and its all working now :D
all u need is a short peice of flexable wire&2 male spade connectors crimped on at each end
the resistor can just be unplugged
my car has been fitted with halogen bulbs btw so that probably overloaded the wiring even more

Why don't folk listen to advice until it's too late? :roll:

Don't forget to remove the diode as well, it's the 'duck whistle' clipped onto the flasher canister, next to the steering column... ;)

Picked up a few christmas trees, both around 6 1/2ft, so had the roof back with them out the top

Got a few funny looks going through the village like this:

D6,
doesn't a Renault 6 have more in common with this creation, than with a Dyane, on a 'drive-by assessment' at least? :lol:

Don't destroy it, as I've found a use for them on Dyanes... ;)
