Re: What did you do with your A Series today?
House windows sounds a bit heavy RT; this is a 60s estate of tickytacky boxes, there have been 2 cars set on fire in our road in the last 10 years - mind you that don't sound good do it?! But not property damage... Anyway, this is the first time we have had anything ourselves so it is a bit unsettling but I suppose in the great scheme of things a couple of windows is small beer. And easily replaced from the scrapyard-in-the-shed. There are a lot of alleys & cut throughs so I guess we are all on someone's route home from the pub, I'm banking on that being the case rather than having dredged up a local anti-dush mafia

To be fair, we live in an old corner shop, which still has the absolutely massive shop windows on two sides of one corner. Some nights after I've had a couple of pints, even I'm tempted to put a pane through.

Had to use the Dyane for work today as van refused to turn over. It was a bit of a shock for my clients to see me turn up in it and fix their boiler etc... If I did not need a big van for moving big stuff around I would love to use a 2cv van for work - all sign written etc... But I can dream

Been out in the 2CV this afternoon. Headed off down the M5 and M50, and ended up in Ledbury (was originally going to Ross ). Spent a little time in the town and headed home via Malvern, along the A449. That's one hell of a hill that climbs the south flank of the Malvern Hills on the A449, car struggled to keep to 40mph in third. I'm back home in the warm now.

Got pulled over, as I battered the frozen window open with my elbow, they kindly informed me it was icy and to take care, which was nice, I might not have realised otherwise.

Took it to London!
Snow on the ground. Roads not gritted. Obvious choice!
