Probably best to get the bus, it's the modern alternative to a 2cv. Rattly, shit, slow and there's bound to be some sort of unwanted creature in there.

I hate these "get old cars banned from cities" ideas. Heres an idea, lets ban a car thats rarely used in the city and does 50+mpg, instead of banning the 10 mpg and less Chelsea Tractors that are a danger to other cars, motorbikes, and especially cyclists.

Gets my vote.

It's funny how certain threads take on a life of their own and go off on a journey the original poster didn't envisage. I only put the original link up because of the good photos and the little write-up after the author's initial comment regarding the idea of banning old cars. It's like another, recent thread about getting French style numberplates, that has now gone onto idiots who drive round with personalised plates. You've got to love this little online community.
