Re: What did you do with your A Series today?
Yup was Russ - picked it up from barn yesterday, parked it outside home about 6pm, came out about 2pm today to clear the rest of my bits out of it before take it over to my mate (biker - who is borrowing it for the cold season) tonight & found 2 windows popped. Lucky there was enough daylight left to fix it. Dave & James, thanks for the offer, much appreciated, but fortunately I had a door & 1/4 glass kicking around - & more amazingly could actually lay my, now somewhat lacerated, mits on 'em! Now to get it away from here while still in one piece - thank christmas it wasn't the Azam or the Ami...

Mehariman602 or something?
Anyway, we had a letter through our door from the local PCSO regarding criminal damage to trees and arson attacks round here, I guess you got one too? Maybe worth giving them a shout even though they're pretty unlikely to find the culprit. Bloody glad I didn't leave mine out all weekend now. Wankers.

Really sorry to see that vandalism....doesn't seem to matter where you are these days....twats obviously multiply well as they are everywhere... Every 2cv I've ever owned has been vandalised in one way or another....usually wankers "just" tear the hood... Anyway, glad it's not worse and well done for sorting it.

Cos mike is into citroens and boats ?
I hate mine being in my council garage. Even in there i feel It could come under attack!!
So far its been fine !! Ran it up and took it for a cheeky spin (whoops no tax or mot though!)
I may one day splash out and pay £7 for a duplicate disc!

Collected a front bench seat from baron_matt on my way back to gloucestershire...big yay Dreaming of some very nice coverings now.....hmmmm Incidentally my lovely Mrs. isn't amused as I may have neglected to tell her I was buying/collecting it..... and it's a bit too big to hide...

Re: What did you do with your A Series today?
Ah yes possibly Russ, the Mehariman602 was one of mine - bit redundant now I don't have the Mehari anymore... didn't realise I had used it here As James says: Citroens & boats, started it on ebay as that was the stuff I was looking for and it sort of stuck. 'Yummy' is now safe over on Thorney Island & the other 2 were ok when we got back - did tell Mr Plod incase it was part of a 'crime pattern' in this dodgy area of LA but seems there were no others reported, guess it was just jelousy - sorry, just an excuse to use the green one again...

Probably tempting fate here ... we've occasionally had house windows broken, and finding kebab wrappers and empty beer cans in our garden is a regular occurence, but the car's always been left alone. Stuff like this always annoys me, though ... as JW said, what do they get out of it? Glad you've got it repaired.
