Hopefully the new parts will continue the life of my little gasless welder. Will still wait for the Swedish beast to come back, so I can continue my new trend of MIG gas welding

I rung my dad to ask where the welder was and what sort of state it was on and he I formed me that he'd donated it to his work as I hated it so much. But if I ever get it back I'll let you know.

Viking, the boss man and his son are away all week at a wedding but when they're back I'll see what we can do, if it means me takig a weekend out to visit France it'll obviously be a real shame...

Well Mister Spanners is here and played around with the mig welder JAlanK kindly let me use until ordered torch arrives from the UK. Spanners did his magic, setting up the welder and it is running good now, even on pure 100 % argon. Thanks Jon I can weld again even using my pure argon. The best part of this were all the talk about deep penetration
We tested welding with pure argon and pub gas, yes it looks diffierent but not much really. Happy to keep the argon.

Hmmmmmm, France vs England.....

Well, I love France, I really do. But, your petrol is SHIT! Van was running like a sack of shit until I ran it right down on the M5 bback up from Plymouth and filled back up with "English" petrol. It's fine again now.

No point swapping, the bloody thing is empty. Can it be real that it is empty. Had 100 psi last night. Forgot to turn the bottle off last night. This morning nothing. Bugger believed that the regulator prevented the gas from sipping out.

Now comes the silly job of replacing it.

Nope, I always turn the bottle off when not welding. Some regulators are ok, others leak like rusty buckets.

I always feel when passing the bottle if it is closed!!! it's almost like an addiction!!

No, I do the same thing! With every gas bottle in the workshop. I especially like secretly doing it to the forklift gas when my colleague is driving it.

Now it's getting creepy, it;s the same over here....

Even my 2cv gastank is closed at the moment!! I guess, sorry I'm going to check that now...
