A tribute to the Citroen DS - the car I'd buy myself if I won the lottery.

Can any of the CCC types suggest somewhere that would sell a new Visa 652 starter motor?

No sightings of anything Citroen and twin cylindered in Shetland (as last year), but I have seen the Morris Minor I saw a number of times last year, so it's clearly a local car. Surprised it hasn't rusted away. Lol.

Well, as I'm sure you're aware, there are still thousands of the little things buzzing around interesting and beautiful parts of Eastern Europe, from Budapest to Prague, and still at giveaway prices.

Although I found this one in Worthing, ten minutes from where I live.

I spent a couple of months hitching around Eastern Europe in the late 80s. The streets ponged of 2-stroke fuel. Loved it!

Please post up some pics if you get it.

We've had a clear out, the stillage full of the remnants of that green car is loaded with scrap to weigh in, and there's a whole car parking space there. And I sold the van today.

This is the car I've just agreed to buy.
