At the other end of the scale from Will2cv's Dyane link: Advertised as 1974 CITROEN 2CV 700 CC 19 HP Apparently, it's been beautifully restored: Comes complete with miniature flying carpet, by the look of it. £11500! http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C323582

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Wow. It's one thing seeing shiny immaculate original colour cars advertised at ridiculous money, but one that looks like the sort of thing we all drove around in in the 1990s at that price is a new one on me. Nearly twelve grand you say? Let me just think about that for a minute ...

It's back. Again. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1982-CITROEN- ... v4exp=true"Feel free to suggest offers" the man says. Well, it's up for £795 and you say you've already turned down an offer of £650. So we're not that free to suggest offers, are we? When will he learn that it's worth maybe five hundred quid at the most? It hardly needs another photo, but here it is anyway. Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
At Beaulieu autojumble the other weekend there was what used to be a 1961 AZLP prior to its restoration. This included new chassis, suspension, 602cc engine and disc brakes. £13000 And it was a non-standard colour, the interior quite tatty and wrong for the year.

Tempted to offer £495, just to be a pedantic smartarse pillock and piss him off bigtime.

I suspect an offer of £790 would still warrant an OMG I'M NOT GOING TO GIVE IT AWAY I DESERVE TO SELL IT THESE ARE WORTH ££££££££ ranty reply. Actually, by the sound of it, that might just push him over the edge "someone must buy it or else I'll explode" etc Or he might even 'restore' it, heaven forbid.

Especially if you could anchor wax up that rear rusty panel for a nice rat look.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Two-Rare-1962 ... 20cba90745this is a bit cool in a sort of square way http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1983-Citroen- ... 4d04cdab52also I hope someone takes this on.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1985-CITROEN- ... 4abc44b4da
