 Re: Dave 411's 1967 AK350. That's interesting Dave, you have inertia dampers AND telescopic shock absorbers. I'm guessing it has friction dampers too.

Re: Dave 411's 1967 AK350. My Ami has the same setup, but no friction dampers, as they dont fit with the telescopic shock absorbers. Theis setup give a really smooth and comfortable drive

Re: Dave 411's 1967 AK350. Ah. I have inertia dampers fitted to the front suspension of my 2CV and when first fitted I noticed a big improvement in comfort and handling. I've since wanted to fit a pair to the rear arms too.

Re: Dave 411's 1967 AK350. Well,I thought to myself,"I know what will make the wheels look nice,I"ll get the wheel nuts chromed,can't be too expensive" ,Wrong,go on,have a guess how much to have 12 nuts chromed.

also the chrome might flake off when you apply a spanner to tightnen them

Re: Dave 411's 1967 AK350. Yes,true,there is that possibility,but my thinking was,you can buy chromed wheel nuts,and it doesnt come off them.Yes,they have the oval washers on them,and they are the fully enclosed type.
