Re: Olive the Blueberries & Cream D*lly
Off work this week (yay, about time I'm knackered) so Olive moves up the ranks to be main mode of transport for the week. She's doing ok, driving her daily reminds me of all the small jobs I put off that need doing to her, but she keeps going. So I won't waste a perfectly good week taking her to bits and NOT using her. She did get some new chrome gutter trims fitted plus I painted the fan guard cream too. Non of which makes her go better, but it make me feel better. Pictures of a genuine Beachcomber-cum-Dolly follow.

Re: Olive the Blueberries & Cream D*lly
A fine week of holiday service was finished in the last mile home yesterday with a bang, bang, bang. I looked under the bonnet, she'd spat out one of her spark plugs.
I let the plug cool off in the long grass, after burning my thumb on it - of course its hot you fool its been burning bloody petrol!
I did not have a plug spanner on-board (time to rethink the emergency tool kit) so could only hand tighten it and gingerly drive off home. Its nice when you have a break down, fix something then head on your merry way.

One side only Dave. The Helicoil kits seem to come with 10 inserts, so I could then have spare if the other side goes. Then eight left over for the Triumph Stag I'll never quite save up for I have now ordered a Helicoil kit from ECAS, let he fun begin.
