 Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Yesterday I mostly wasted the roof of mine
It had gone green and a bit Manky do I took the roof off, took down to my mates at dell quay yacht yard where they have a karcher hot pressure washer and spent half an hour cleaning it.
I wish I took a before and after as it came up so well. It looks new. Didn't realise how dirty it was!!
Did both inside and out laying it down on te floor on a tarp!!

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Today I pushed my A Series onto the works' flatbed truck and rolled it off when we reached work Then I pushed it into the car park, where it will stay until I pour some petrol into it! DOH!

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Put a new radio in my girls 2cv... Radio was in the basement for a few months, but due to the car being at the garage for 3 months i couldn't fit it earlier..
yes, 3 months at a garage to make sure it runs good on GPL/LPG.. took them 3 months, and only cost 50euro's, for a new venturi!

they are quite a number of gas powered 2cv's over here..
the garage the car has been the last few months, puts a complete system in for around 1350euros..
was thinking of converting the ami to gas, but that gives some problems with the practicality/usability of the car

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Drove mine to the gym, did a circuits class and then tore home in it at top speed, sweating like a pig and dehydrated. A pratt in a Vauxhall pulled out on me, assuming that I was going to hold her up if she had to drive behind me. Her face was a treat when she saw me having to take evasive action, whilst showing off my twin airhorns and a bit of special Anglo-Saxon that I use on such occasions.
