Ok the saga continues.....

Had all day on it 2day, with 2 engineers, got a bit done but as always one job always takes so much longer as that leads to another job, then you have to get that sorted before u can carry on what ya doing, you'll all know what I am on about, Well the pics basically say what we have been up to...

File comment: new aluminium spacers, found 2 M8 holes in the chassis which were ideal to mount a wing support off the headlight bowl as on a dyane...work out quite well..

File comment: Trying to fix the bonnet pins, what a twat...ending up finding a load of rot and having to cut out and weld in new metal!! Eventually got the pins out of bonnet after some heat as you can see from the paint on the bonnet, but at least that are out and now it open up properly!!

Thanks fellas, not sure about that neil, but it might look ok when done... :P

You are probably a good one to ask neil, Do u know how many Sidewinders (dyane based Particularly) there are in the country??

There used to be a nice one in metallic blue, owned by Emma Jenkins' (daughter of Dave and Kate) then-boyfriend Adam. This was back in the mid - 1990s, so whether it's still around or not I have no idea.

So anyone know how many Dyane sidewinders are around and about in the uk then :?: :?:

James got the wiring loom cheers mate, will be putting it to good use 2moro when we go for round 2 on the beast..
Got most of the day on it again with my new found engineer friends!!!

Got the inlet manifold to sort, the new loom to make, fab some new metal for where the accelerator cable go through bulk head and no doubt we'll find a load of other problems along the way......... :roll:

More updates and pics to follow....

Managed to get another day, well I mianly stood and watched whilst me fellas did the work!!

Anyway, only a couple of pics as they started fiddling with the wiring, and a lot of head scratching then presuaded... then we had to leave!!!!
