Not a very stable shooting platform for off-road use, I'm guessing the job of driver might be a rather high risk occupation...

So, I've got the motors tv raceday on my sky+ box, how can I record that to a DVD? I haven't got a VCR any more which is how we used to record stuff off the telly in the old days (progress? No.). Is there a cable/download/ attachment I can get to record what's playing on me telly onto a disc in my computer? How did folk record it and stick it on YouTube last year? I'm supposed to be young and understand this kind of thing but I don't know where to start. What was so bad about VCR recorders? Tut tut grumble.

Post Re: The O/T thread!
Was very impressed with the c90 today...

Lots of roads round me are under water,

I hard to do much driving through puddles on the c90, and the engine took many dunkings ('twas so deep water came into my ankle high work boots!!) and the old beast just kept going, amazing really!!!

Also had to pop out during the day to collect the boss's wife, so we set off in the Navara, only to find lots of cars stranded in deep water on roads...
One puddle we went through was amazingly deep, water was up over the bonnet and coming up the windscreen, but we had it in 4x4 and kept the foot to the floor and the navara just kept on going, was pretty amazing really.. what was more funny is an L Reg mondeo was in front of us and he also made it through completly succesfully, but probably not dry judging by the water leaking around the door seals...
We also had a bit of a laugh as one of the ventures through a puddle we went past a van which had its window open, driver couldn't wind it up quick enough so got a good soaking!!!

Made it to Bognor in the end via most of the worst affected roads which where closed.. having to go around lots of fools who had tried it in the completley un suitable cars!!!
