He's been trying to shift that rusty chassis he has on there for months, he's dropped the price 3 times.

I've had a good chat with the chap who now has my ex-2cv Club who had no idea he was buying such an infamous car but assures me that he has spent a lot of time and money on it. He bought it as spares but thought it was too good to break and in fairness, it was and is a nice looking car.
And I'd say he sounds like a decent and honest fellow.
I didn't have the money or the time to repair it at the time, I'd just started a new business and 2cv's were a luxury I couldn't justify.
