Google have robbed the French roads of another AZAM, and stuck it in their new office in Paris:

There's an article about it here (in French). It's a bit crap eg "This operation, orchestrated by V12 GT.com at the request of Google France, was not an easy task because, besides the difficulty of finding a copy in good condition..."

Video here.

I likes it! I'm determined to have a car in my house when I buy it. I'd quite like some furniture made from aircraft parts too. I think a bed made from a stack headlamp merc, a breakfast bar made from an aluminium tail section of a light aircraft and when my van expires I might use the rearmost two feet of it as a wardrobe. My missus is going to wish she'd never met me.

Seem to remember great big junk shops in Amsterdam that were full of rows of airline seats and other jetliner bits and bobs. Perhaps you should pay a visit.

A mate of mine had a Guzzi LeMans in his bedroom, much to his wife's annoyance. He put it outside when they had visitors because he didn't want people to think he was weird!

My ex owned a Triumph Bonneville in the years before I met her. Her first husband had a Moto Guzzi, whcih to Allie's great annoyance, he insisted on keeping in the lounge. One day, she laid into him about his motorbike being in the lounge, so much so that he moved it out before he went off to work. When he came home that evening, he was surprised to find Allie's Bonneville in residence in the lounge ...

As part of the occasional series, 'What's this I've got in my shed', I was wondering if anyone could suggest what these 2 oversized sockets were originally meant for. They are very precise sizes, 2 17/32th, and 2 41/64th, which makes me think they were for a very specific purpose. They're made by 'Melco' and I believe they came from a garage clearance.

Ah yes, the 2 17/32" is better known as the TBS92 I believe, that's a Transit hubnut spanner, as is 2 41/64" TBS65 it's next to, although that's obviously for the earlier Transit models.
