YES: you can warm Camembert in your microwave.
NO: you shouldn't because it makes a bastard mess.

Sadly, I walked a whole fucking mile, bike in tow, to a closed petrol station I ran out on Tuesday too, but at least I conked out in the forecourt of a petrol station!!

A mile! Pah, that's child's play, a couple of months back I pushed my 125 5 miles when it ran out of fuel, the time before that it was 3 1/2 miles. And once, many years ago, I pushed it nearly 9 miles with a seized big end.

 Re: The O/T thread!
Yep, we've all been there! I think my worst with the chinese 125 was 6 - although they were mostly uphill! When the chain snapped on that one about 5 miles from home I just chucked it in the hedge and walked home on my own. Unfortunately it was still there in the morning when I went out with another chain..!
Nothing can be as bad as the reserve facility on the Voskhod though; that was good for about a mile if you were lucky, so was more like a warning along the lines of, "find somewhere comfortable to pull over, you're in for a long walk!"

 Re: The O/T thread!
I've never run out of juice on a bike, but I have pushed a ford Capri a mile or so to a petrol station.
