Peter, 1.2mm zintec sheet + outriggers = floors. With your skills, you could probably make the lower bulkhead repair panels yourself... Galvanized outriggers on chassis by slcchassis, on Flickr panelbeaterpeter wrote: Thanks folks, the plan was always to get away from the nasty trailer lights.
Got a sheet of Zintec today, so will get the other rear quarter window blanked soon, then I need to sell something so I can buy floors etc. The "saving up" thing didn't go to plan.

I'd be on the list for a set of bulkhead

Hi Ken, thanks, I would be able to make floors and bulkhead myself, but they wouldn't look original, with the flutes and things. I know it might seem a bit contradictory wanting original floor pans when I've messed so much with the bodywork, but I've given it a fair bit of thought and I'd rather get original style from ECAS.

Hi Pete, I was wondering if you have any clearance issues with the length of the spindle on the handle? The reason I ask is that the area the mechanism is cut from is on the lower swagged height of the door panel, but you have now fitted it to the higher outer panel, say 5mm higher? it all looks like it fits'works fine, now i'm wondering if that isn't a better way for me to have done it... CHeck out the link HERE for my interpretation of the lock... Cheers, Harley

Bulkhead is rusty in other places though, it's not bad but at some point..

Harley, I hadn't thought about that, I see what you mean, and thinking about it, the spindle should be too short, but it isn't, it's perfect. The front of the door must be thinner than the rear? Yours looks good, have you used a rear door handle? I have no internal locking mechanism because I used front door handles, which worries me slightly. I will end up doing something, not too sure what yet..

I think you may be right about that part of the door being thinner. I also used the front latch mech. It looks easy enough to adapt a simple lock identical to the rear latch on the front, I was considering it only for the safety of my fiancee... but I've decided it would be more effective to teach her a solid left cross instead! Same deal here mate, safety is the prerogative.
