   |   Re: Its finally finishedO/T, but riveting nonetheless: modern car manufacturers are obsessed with "perceived quality". Knowing that people in western societies love the smell of leather, and associate it with posh luxury, some manufacturers (Lexus being the one that I know about) even include a canister, located under the seats, that gives a quick squirt of leather scent to keep that great smell of skin in the cabin, long after the natural smell fades. 
 Customers in the far east don't like the smell, so the canister is not included in cars manufactured for the eastern markets.
 
 Back on topic: very impressed with the car. Think the dash looks great.
