 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Being a newbie to the details of 2CVs and particularly vans - is this an imposter i.e. replica ?
Confess I think the cab roof looks a little strange.

Confess I think the cab roof looks a little strange. 'Strange' is one way of putting it. 'God awful' is another. I have a feeling it could be a Villevan: http://www.villevans.co.uk/

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Yeah, its a replica probably made by Villevans, just a plastic tub on normal 2cv running gear and not the uprated van spings etc. They are having trouble at the moment in registering their cars due to chassis changes (shortening i think?) Making them impossible for some people to use on the road. Maybe the plate is blanked due to it being a possible Q plate?

Bang on there Joe, makes them useless as a van as they can't carry any weight. And why they don't just buy a chassis that fits... ie a van chassis? Makes no sense, then no trouble registering....

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Or spend £7500 on Tarquins Acad. That's about as good as vans get and it's a *proper* van. Better than that 'Vilevan'.
