£800 for a road worthy car is OK The color is immaterial as you can get it painted any color you want.

Hmmmm ... Quote: It's time you left behind YOUR kingpin concerns and join with those who no longer worry about the MOT tester failing you every year for the same thing ... I don't worry about my kingpins failing an MOT every year, I just keep them greased. You can buy a lot of grease for <snigger> £550. Quote: Of course we would welcome your PayPal payment, but if you agree to transfer the funds to our designated bank account, details of which we will give you on the invoice, we will reduce the price by 20 GBP, being the PayPal fee to us. That's Andrew Gardner he's being doing them for years. I *think* one of the 4x4 boys has them fitted.
Not to mention that a fail on shot kingpins is £30 with grease and an afternoons work.

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Isn't welding on certain suspension components an mot fail too? The welding on the pair of arms he had for sale at London/Brighton a couple of years back was a disgrace. I could make these in about 2 hours for a lot less than he's asking. But I wouldn't because they're a waste of time.

Whether they work or not, whether the welding's any good or not, or whether they will technically fail an MOT or not ... they're hardly what you'd call an elegant engineering solution. Which doesn't really fit in with Citroen's original idea, does it?
