Must be fairly rare i'd have thought.

Secondly, it's been on eBay before (this year I think) and struggled to get £800-£1000 ish if my memory serves me right.

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
If mine would do 90 I'd do it, why not? 2cv brakes are superb and can cope with much more than the car will ever be able to achieve. We use standard pads and discs on the race cars, they cope absolutely fine and take considerably longer and harder abuse than most road cars ever will.

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Yup especially you take the time to service the rears so the full 40% is available to the rear-contrary to the belkief the rears are only there for show
On the GB race site there is a passage that says the cars are "Over braked" which is bolloks you cant have "too much" brakes just too heavy a right foot- or that the rears are sluggish and the fronts are overworked therfore prone to locking.
bad brakes are a pet hate of mine.

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Hi - just read the advert for the 90MPH 2cv car Who would ever put in an advert that they have broken the law! Bit of a signed confession! Quote: "The car will touch 90mph(and thats not down hill with the wind behind it)it accelerates incredibly well and seems very happy to cruise at 80mph. This speed has been clocked on a sat nav and also with my colleague following me in a Renault."

Being all antagonistic and that, I sent him a message asking if for the extra 1200 it came with stiff springs and turned arms.

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
£2500 doesn't actually seem all that much if the cab is as sound as the advert says. I'd rather pay that than eight grand for a shiny shed.
