We had a 2cv club to pay a visit today. On their Bretagne tour, the route was through our village La Trinite Porhoet. Had a phone call if we would put the keddle on, no worries, shall do. Some photos in no particular order. Spot the ''odd one out'' :mrgreen:

They're steel. I don't think any 2cv had aluminium bumpers. Dyanes and Amis had stainless.

Actually, that's bollocks. My 6 had aluminium bumpers and I think some Belgian 2cvs had them, as did to slough cars.

Those ripple bumpers are, as Russ points out, steel.

Slough cars were steel too, IIRC. Although they were chromed.

I honestly don't know what bumpers your car would've been fitted with originally, Dave. Possibly something like this:

Slough cars were fitted with Morris Minor bumpers-rear ones I believe. :geek:
