 French invasion We had a 2cv club to pay a visit today. On their Bretagne tour, the route was through our village La Trinite Porhoet. Re: French invasion They're steel. I don't think any 2cv had aluminium bumpers. Dyanes and Amis had stainless.

Re: French invasion Actually, that's bollocks. My 6 had aluminium bumpers and I think some Belgian 2cvs had them, as did to slough cars.

Re: French invasion Those ripple bumpers are, as Russ points out, steel. Slough cars were steel too, IIRC. Although they were chromed. I honestly don't know what bumpers your car would've been fitted with originally, Dave. Possibly something like this:

Re: French invasion Slough cars were fitted with Morris Minor bumpers-rear ones I believe.
