 Re: 1988 2cv D*lly bits and bobs I'm going to go for the new chassis but thanks spammers  John doing it atyour place would be most helpful, I'd like to do the floors and bulkhead too but don't want to burden you with too much, I recon we could do it in a day, I'd like to put new pistons and barrels in too!

Re: 1988 2cv D*lly bits and bobs James, Your PM came through blank !! So just remind me again..... If you want to sort out a chassis swap I am very happy to help...and we can use my place. However doing bulkheads is a fair bit of work ...oh...so new floors too...  ? ...oh and rebuilding the engine with new barrells and pistons, changing it to four wheel drive and putting on the ripple bonnet, galvanising the whole bodyshell, re-spray in green and white D*lly colours and on top of that you want to sleep with my youngest daughter ? I think we need more than a day...

Re: 1988 2cv D*lly bits and bobs Heard great reviews from this stuff:  Epoxy mastic paint. used apparently on oil rigs its that tough. Probably best for under body use though. And it comes in a variety of colours!
