Post Full length hood.
Does anyone make full length hoods that cover the boot?
A local (ex) 2cver made one himself but im not sure if i have the guts for that!

I really like the look. I'm going to be throwing some money at my car when get my savings moved about. Im going to get a friend to respray it in a nice grey and then adding a full length roof will give it the look of an older car, i think.

It won't [give it an older look] and it will drive you mad as they are a pain in the arse to use.

it will be easy for any scum to break into too, i would imagne you will find a constant source of a pain in the arse with it!
im sure matt damper would make a full length hood anyway?

I might have to make one like the one i saw then, use a hatch back kit, cover the over the bootlid to retain the the locking mechanism and structural integrity. It really shouldn't be any different to a normal hood should it?

:idea: Why not cover the standard [locking] bootlid with the same material as the roof .......[1970's "vinyl roof" stylee] ......cleverly done,the only give-away would be the 2CV locking handle,and if a late model Dyane boot lock could be used [ :? ] ...the lock would'nt show too much.
