So to sum that up, a collection of old tractions etc. plus parts, buyer must take all of them and make an offer over £15,000, or he'll scrap them.

What sort of warped logic/emotional blackmail, is that?

Even when they've been fragged, melted down and turned into lovely new Kia Rios, they still won't be worth £15k.

This tidy Dyane was advertised at £500 or near offer & above sold via 2cvtv on 19/05/2011

Thank you very much for advertising my Dyane, advert ref 6241. Someone has been to see it tonight and has bought it, so could you please note it up as sold on the 2cvtv website? I've had about 7 enquiries regarding the car, which amazed me as I didn't expect so much interest. Thanks again.

Now it's on eBay for £1900 or make an offer:

Starts the ad with ""unexpectedly for sale is my recently purchased Dyane 6.""

Unexpected my arse!!!!

Probably got it for £400 knew it would be worth double or treble that so thought he would make a quick Buck...Wouldn't be as bad if he was going to keep it...

Maybe he is a friend of that other fella/knob head who think anything dyane must be worth a fortune!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd offer to help him scrap stuff in return for 50% of the weigh in value, then come back a week later and use that money to pick up anything decent.

If I could find an A-model for cheap moneý but in fair or good condition, I would sell it on any time making a profit. What is wrong with that, tell me someone who wouldn't do that...!!!!

Money makes the world go around......

It's a bit different when it's your business, but making a £1500 profit on a £500 shitter is what's pushed up prices and prevented me and a lot of other people buying the cars they enjoy.

If some twat wants to pay three times what it was worth last week, instead of just buying one for £500 then they're clearly mental. Like that Bamboo I had that went from a £50 write off to a £1500 total wreck in a year. It was in better condition when it was a write off, why pay more?
