Post Dwell angle
Decided to buy a dwell angle meter with english text but where do I find one for 2 cylinders.I Remember that a long time ago using a dwell meter showing 108 degrees not needing to divide the 4 cylinder reading by 2. Time to move on from using 0.40 mm feelers.
Thanks in advance
Viking

just get a good one
you have to half the 4cl reading or use the %age duty scale if it has one

I usually set it up for 53* 4 cyl

youll be setting the timing with a strobe next

It's a versatile bit of kit; mine's over 20 years old now, very abused, but still works perfectly despite having been stored in way less than ideal conditions at times.

Note that if you want to use the ammeter function for high loads then you must use the metal shunt provided in the kit, it often gets lost but it's easy to fabricate a new one. Might still be worth asking the seller if it's included in the box, it usually stows into the underside of the poly.
