Yes the additional repeaters will be LED and I'll put them in the normal place at the back where people would expect them. A few more bits that were a bit worse than I expected - they really had made a shocking job of replacing that shelf originally... The bulkhead wasn't a thing of beauty when we got Het, and the winter she spent outside a couple of years back didn't do many favours. The back panel's cleaned up a lot better than we thought, though.

Re: Belgian built 1969 AK350 'Hetty' Yeah absolutely - I'm not worried about the bulkhead particularly. Russ and I have a plan for the MOT  The back panel looks fine, I'm gonna try and get some paint mixed up for it this week. I'm really proud of the sills  they look really good. Don't worry about the parcel shelf, it's cosmetic and as I say I'll reupholster it. I cant wait for you to see her!

Re: Belgian built 1969 AK350 'Hetty' she's handled well around the farm, I'm going to put the wings back on next weekend after my dad's painted them and take her down the lane. I want to give the brakes a proper try.
I've undersealed all the areas that you can't get to with the wings on in preparation for them to go back on. Can't wait to get her on the road!

Re: Belgian built 1969 AK350 'Hetty' Just spoken to a company called Mountspace who are local to me. They can match the paint from one of the front valences and mix it up for me in any type of paint I like.
I've asked for brush on so it'll be synthetic at £23.64 a litre which seems reasonable.

I've asked for brush on so it'll be synthetic at £23.64 a litre which seems reasonable. I'd be wary of brushing on synthetic, it has a nasty habit of reacting with anything you want to put over it. Get them to make you a rattle can; that way you'll be able to over paint later without stripping the paint off again. They'll sell you a mask in a foil pack if you want to keep your lungs from matching your car (I recommend a mask).
