Re: The O/T thread! well a guy with a red bay window camper from california comes into work quite often and we got talking about my car cos he immediatly asked if pops was mine and when i said yeah we got a little chat going, and he mentioned then that one of his mates has a dyane that hes putting on a vw beetle chassis.... i couldnt think of anything worse... altho yeah that does look cool.... but its obviously never met a speedbump in its life as that!

Oh dear.
They may try, but they can't hijack my experiences.
And one they didn't mention was playing on bomb-sites (London in the 50s), presumably because they have a sneaking admiration for the 3rd Reich.

That's interesting, Russ picked up a car mag in a service station yesterday that had a story on a dyane on beetle running gear
