 2011 24hr Snetterton
27th and 28th August 2011 So I know some of the Lumaca I2F team may have some other plans on the same weekend as this years 24hr Race - but for those of you who do want to do the whole thing again this year let either Jon 'Spanners', Russell or myself know, we would love to get as many of the same team back together again although if you fancy joining the team let us know too - I am sure we can fit you in somewhere. We have all of the drivers confirmed yes confirmed already so once again along with myself I will have Bernd, Stuart and Graham (saves taking the names off the car) trying to do our bit. Looking forward to it already

I wouldn't mind, my knowledge isn't the best, but and extra pair of hands if required (I'm thinking of spraying the van... Maybe a lumaca service van lmfao!)

 Re: 2011 24hr Snetterton
This was one of the best things I did last year, so I'm well up for doing it again, especially if the "fun crowd'(that's you lot ) are choosing it over the National.

What was it, 40 hours awake? Never seen anybody mission it like that! If anybody is unsure about which to attend, this is one of the best events of the year, but is almost 'undiscovered' by most people. You won't be disapointed I promise! (and if you want to be part of Team Lumaca you'll have an even better weekend!)

I'm interested ... I'm a reasonably handy practical mechanic and can stay up all night.

 Re: 2011 24hr Snetterton
Can I just say for those of you that may like to be part of the team but may not be of a mechanically practical nature (that is to say, you can't fix owt) that there's a hell of a lot more to the team than just mechanics. To work properly and smoothly, a team needs mechanics, re-fuellers, general dogs bodies (Little Louis and Ollie were great at this last year) "caterers", people just to make tea or coffee in the middle of the night, maybe even someone on hand that doesn't mind shooting off site at midnight when we've run out of fags? I'm tired so I'm sure to have missed people of that "list". But, if you want to be part of the team, get in touch, put your name down and have some 24 hour 2CV Racing fun-times.

I'm a better Indian than a Chief ... I'll pretty much do whatever I'm asked to do. I can also drive a lorry if that's any help.

 Re: 2011 24hr Snetterton
Being part of the team was really rewarding, and I'd say my favourite 2CV based weekend of the year. I'd love to be part of the team again, but I'm torn between this and the (Inter)national. Just can't make up my mind.

Im still unsure on this one. I might have to sit it out. I really need to save my pennies. I may be swayed though. Afterall Simon could swing by mine if he went the long way round.
