 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
This is achingly beautiful, not far from next year's WM and LOOK at the price. Anyone down that way?

I liked this, it has a certain 'Flintstones' quality about it. I'll not link to the ad' though as it's up for six grand!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1973-CITROEN-2CV- ... 2a0bc6521bI think it's horrible, myself. First thing I'd do is strip all that chrome strip off it and paint over those awful stickers. Oh, and put a spare wheel cover on it. And throw the hubcaps away. Still, each to their own.

Despite the exterior, it doesn't look in bad nic. It made me think though - during corporate inductions and health and safety meetings I have a tendency to mentally wonder off and visualise my ideal AK paint scheme.... I'd be really hurt if everyone hated it and it ended up as dreadful as that!
