Mighty impressive, Old Nail - tho' a bit of a pretentious d**k... Mind you, he can afford to be.

A Scottish version on 2 wheels...: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z19zFlPah-o

Haunting song too - running through my head until I had to buy the album. Turns out it's the best song on there :( Great voice. Terrible lyrics. (Tho' well disguised by the way he sings them.)

Completely off topic from the other off topics but thought this would be the best place to ask:

I need to get 5 people, a van, and some gear to Belgium from the UK, whats the cheapest way of getting over the channel and back? Any special deals or ways to get the costs down that I won't know about? Never done it before. Quotes for ferry and Eurotunnel seem to be about £150 return.

How do you fellas do it when you go to Spa etc etc?

If you try SeaFrance's website, put "2cv" in the promotions box in the left hand lower corner(I think :? ) You'll get a club discount. I took my 2cv and Combi-Camp trailer tent (3.4m) over in May. SeaFrance was cheapest at £125, but by putting in 2cv it cost me £95, and that was out Monday 8.15am, return following Monday 8pm.

I have just watched a TV show on freeview channel 38 (quest) called 'Bangla Bangers', anyone seen it?

Focused on a back street garage in Bangladesh which turns out custom cars by hand, and I mean by hand. Those guys have no power tools, no hydraulics or electrics to speak of, they even stripped old paint off using broken hacksaw blades as they have no chemicals - nothing!

Body panels are made from flat sheet steel, then formed by eye and panel beating, it's truly amazing stuff. When the show was over I felt a real admiration for those guys. Dirt poor, yet maddeningly talented, they show how the human spirit and massive ingenuity can overcome some incredible obstacles.

If you haven't seen it yet then try it, you will be amazed at what they can do with so little.

Yes the Indians aren't big on safety. That Leepu guy is a fantastic designer but doesn't much care for practicality or safety, but that could also be said of the 'American chopper' motorcycle builders. I don't watch much TV but I'll watch that show again I really enjoyed it.

I've just signed up to BTfon it's fantastic!

Basically, if you're a BT broadband customer, it safely creates an access point on your BT home hub so that people outside your house can use you wireless Internet connection.

But it also means that you can use anyone elses home wireless Internet for free :)

Basically I'm chuffed because I have no edge or 3G reception at work, but the building opposite has a BT fon access point.

Finally I can get eBay at work :D

And i2F as well, schweet :D

Saw my first ever 'salt spreading' sign while driving on motorway a sec ago, so when I get home after salt being thrown everywhere, should I hose car down? Around running gear???
