Completely off topic from the other off topics but thought this would be the best place to ask:

I need to get 5 people, a van, and some gear to Belgium from the UK, whats the cheapest way of getting over the channel and back? Any special deals or ways to get the costs down that I won't know about? Never done it before. Quotes for ferry and Eurotunnel seem to be about £150 return.

How do you fellas do it when you go to Spa etc etc?

Dover-Calais, by boat. Book in advance. Do the crossing at night.

Technically no James as it will cost me an arm and a leg (quite literally) in vaseline to protect me and my mates from the cold/sea monsters/rabid plankton...!

all expenses paid by the race drivers in my big comfy van

norfolk lines(no -fun lines) on a tuesday evening, might be cheaper putting some of the passengers as foot passengers

use on line booking and fiddle with times and days etc
