once hes looked at the points get the multi meter out to check the alternator output with rising revs its probably too much to ask for a manometer to check the breather and compression test for the rings Ducellier should last a couple of years Sean

Just to stir the waters. I always wondered why the Pomes are calling the manometer this. Manome-ter and not Mano-meter. Same for kilo-meter not kilome-ter, micro-meter not microme-ter and so on  I'm guessing here but since the french ''invented'' the industrial revolution but the english refined and won the race, should it be from that? The word meter I believe is defined by the French. Sorry for spamming this post.
