Why? Looks quiet and quite "well to do" on Street View.

Why would anyone drive to London? Get the train, man!

Because I trust a car to get me there, and how bad can it be? I've driven my 2cv up the Champs-Élysées and round the Arc de Triomphe, so London should be a doddle  Besides, I'm using the "other car".

I got the train to Birmingham 3 times last November. All 3 times, someone went and got themselves dismantled, and a 15 minute journey took 2-3 hours.

On the other hand, I did squash a pigeon in Morrisons car park in the Dyane a while ago...

Just occurred to me, what's this got to do with 2cvs? This is why we have the o/t thread.

The Germans are developing motorcycle radar technology that will locate and predict hazards.
According to this TV news report the bikes are fitted with sensors, a camera, and computers that will relay danger signals to the riders helmet much as they do in fighter aircraft.

Is this technology for it's own sake I wonder? What's wrong with good old fashioned looking for hazards?

See it here. http://biertijd.com/mediaplayer/?itemid=21816

That guy that is building a kubelwagen out of a 2cv and sheet steel, shouldn't he have stress channels put in the panels? I quite like the idea but I can only imagine a lot of wobbly metal otherwise.
