For those that would like to paint their fan cowling the correct shade of brown as original then I have just seen the very same colour in one litre tins at Aldi for £3.99.

They are currently doing a grey, red, green, blue, and the aforementioned murky brown. I bought some of the grey paint last time they had it in and can vouch for it being quite good stuff. Sprays or brushes easily, and is one of the new generation paints that dilutes with water.

Finally, once it's dry it can also take clear lacquer paint over it without any reaction, which is how I repainted my steering wheel. Well worth the £3.99.

just watched "top marques" on discovery turbo. a brilliant piece in french car history, i only caught the traction avant, the 2cv and DS. A guy called steve hill was on it in his AZA, The name rings a bell?
