 Ami super Shocks....
Apart from a straight swap like for like is there any other shocks that can be fitted?? as there is on the racers with the Avo's! is there one for the super chassis...
Talking of AVO's shocks for a 2cv or Dyane does anyone need a set going fairly cheap!!
Also whilst on the subject is there any harder springs available aswell?? Fancy taken the old girl down a few inches as seems to have a fair bit of roll at the moment!!

I don't know about anything that can be got 'off the shelf', but if you're looking for stiffer shocks the originals can be modified to take thicker oil. Also springs can be ordered to any rating and length, Pete Sparrow knows where from, but I'm sure you could google it.

 Re: Ami super Shocks....
On a Ami Super chassis you need to buy 4 front 2cv shocks, and drill the mountingpoint to 14mm, accoriding to an earlier post by Jeroen Cats on the dutch 2cv forum.

Or you could just buy a pair of front and a pair of rear Ami Super dampers. http://www.ecas2cvparts.co.uk/shock-abs ... -1339.htmlhttp://www.ecas2cvparts.co.uk/shock-abs ... -1391.html

 Re: Ami super Shocks....
But if you want them Avo's on a Ami super, you need to have 4 front 2cv shocks

 Re: Ami super Shocks....
I would never normally question anything mentioned by the late J Cats as he really knew his stuff, but 2CV front shocks? Really? the length of super ones is a lot longer than the 2CV ones normally, will they even fit? In my head thats just not working.

 Re: Ami super Shocks....
To my surprise the ones I have on there don't look that big....was going to message spanners to see if he had fitted something different when he put it together or if anyone else had any ideas???
I'll have a butchers at the avo ones I have and compare the size, as the ami ones are in a box in the garage Might just post some pics to compare the size difference!!

If the picture comes out
The bottom shock is the Avo front, one above is the Ami super rear...Or should I say its the one I took off the beast!!
