Re: Nasty screech over bumps Just check the rubber gaiters, make sure they are still in one piece. I had the inner/middle  one ripped to shreds by the inner wing coming into contact with it.

I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason for the inner wing to enclose the engine bay so tightly, but having wrecked loads of those gaiters and fighting wings over the top of the tyres, so on my current 2cv I just cut the lower part of the inner wing off.
