If you take the lens off the indicator assembly you'll see which stud is the earth. It has a tag running to it from the bulb. I tend to add an earth loom back to the engine with a bullet connector so all I have to do is pull loose 2 bullets when I want to take the wing off.

Doesn't really matter which - since they're electrically connected via the bracket bolted to both.
