Not too sure about trikes, even though this one was fun... ken. Btw, if anyone knows the whereabouts of this device, there may be a finder's fee available. It was sold on Ebay a few years ago and someone I know would love to get their paws on it.

Someone stuck a notice on it saying "For Sale - £300" and I remember Brian Dark getting very excited and practically dragging me off to find a cashpoint there and then.

 Re: 2cv engines in bikes
This was news to me, and presumably to most other people as well as no-one else mentioned it here, but it seems there was an attempt at a production model of a citroen twin engined bike. Not technically 2cv engined, the MF(moto francaise) 650 used the visa's 652 and was conceived in 1981. The majority of the major mechanical parts, gearbox, suspension and wheels, seem to have been 'borrowed' from Moto Guzzi's V50. From here; http://www.bfg.asso.fr/?page_id=13 With some thanks to google translate; The MF is a French achievement. At the start of 1981, Louis Boccardo, who had recently parted company with the BFG factory(GS engined bikes), met the CEO of the Company Séailles and Tison, manufacturer of printing machines in Vendome. With other partners, including Siccardi, F. The Company (Moto French), was created, Louis Boccardo as technical director, was responsible for the design of a motorcycle engine on the basis of the Citroën Visa 650 cm 3. The growth area is that of a middle road capacity, safe and reliable, direct competitor of BMW R650. The engine is of modern design, with electronic ignition, cylinders treaties, cooling oil origin, a life expectancy unusual motorcycle, and widely distributed. Note that some time ago, the factory BFG had tested this engine to create a model 650 cm3, but the idea was quickly abandoned due to lack of engine power ..). All of the transmission (gearbox and driveshaft / rear axle) was borrowed from MOTO GUZZI V50. In six months, the first models appeared and were presented in 1981, rolling to the Bol d'Or. A model with full fairing was put on the market, and a prototype all-terrain was created, although it never saw production. Two years later the company was liquidated after producing only 90 bikes, some nice, light and handy, although lacking power, but especially finish and reliability due to a too fast development. I want that off-roader, the styling is soooo dated it's cool.

 Re: 2cv engines in bikes
Like most of us, I've got a spare 602 kicking about, but more unusually I've also got a Moto Guzzi V50 with a knackered engine, how convenient! The thought had crossed my mind before, but it's now been firmly added to the long list of potential projects.
In the meantime if anyone can find out any more about these MFs, bung it up here.
