Hey Lars, some great work you've carried out over the years. I love Olli's photoshop, but can't help thinking it would look better with a later bonnet?

Post Re: Lars E' 0,6Tii 2cv special
Hi, The whole project with the orange 2CV, started in 1998 when I bought a front damaged 2CV club, which at that time was quite origial. But there were plans!

The first plan was to spend a year to assemble pieces to it. The plan was the "only" should be repaired, built as low as possible and after use my time and money to tune it.

It also succeeded very well in the first year (year 2000) when it came out and run. At the time together that one up drill 2CV engine (652ccm). with banana manifold, and 2pcs motorcycle carburetor. It made about 40Hp and 55Nm. And the cabin was like on a racing car: 2pcs cobra racing seats, steering wheel and speedometer.

Then came the winter of 2000-01. And there was the car painted and made nice when it had to be the world's meting in Austrians. But I found a set of OZ lemetal fæge with Tuf approved adabtere. So they had to go on, but had also made other fenders, the rear could be bought in germany, so it was no problem. But the front I had to do even in the absence +3 "wide fenders to a body lowered 2CV. When they were done. I came to look at the various handles and lists. So all wells and the like as not there was need was removed.
But three weeks before we had to drive to the Austrians.
should replace the engine off, then had passed a rent in the crankshaft, and so drove the car for a few years. During årende was changed moror, tried several research carburettors and exhaust systems.
Vineren 2004-05 were built a little on the car again. Did a set of other swing arms, with 10 degrees less caster, and it was much better to drive off. but I was forced to make the fenders again, because now the wheels hit the edge of them. Front spoiler was also mounted again when police did not bowl like oil cooler sat in front fender. (Now they just could not see it, hi hi). The winter following was turbo project started when I had my own garage to work in. We chose Mega Squirt, Had nozzles and pump available already from a couple other cars I had, and scrapped. So it was "just" to fit the pieces. To create a simple manifold, I would build on the original, a carburetor was "emptied" of everything except the flaps and nozzles were mounted at the bottom of manifold, and so I was running.
Winter of 2006-07, was the front of the car made beautiful again, because there was hit in sweden. Now I've had a nice but "slow" 2CV again and it was not fun. So turbo project was set in motion again, Summer 2008, the car was out driving with a turbo and it was fun, good enough only with a low boost pressure since at the time points were not fitted with an inter cooler. But it did 1 / 4 mile times of just under 20 seconds. not bad for an otherwise standard 2CV engine.
The following year was fitted with an inter-cooler, and so could get more boost pressure on, so now did the 69Hp. and 75Nm. Later, let the pressure increased a little more and now drove on a 1/4mile in 18.6 seconds. And d now had never left the slowest car in the race (there was a Fiat punto grade was 0.5 seconds slower)
Now I have found a second and slightly smaller turbo (so I can get the boost pressure before and with more torque), and has plans to build a new intake manifold to get a little more power.
This winter has been glanced at springs and mountings of springs. There has been measured an entire mountain of springs, and the strongest was chosen. They are approximately 20% specificity than sitting in (15Kg. in front. 17kg. In the back). rubber buffers that keep safe deposit boxes have also been removed so they sit as an Acadian.
Shock absorber oil was replaced last winter. may have switched to something thicker oil in.

But it has been a long history up to and will continue. And I've probably forgotten something.

A quick little test of oil:
The fastest. Original shock absorber oil
The middle. 75/80W gear oil (which I run now)
The slowest. 100W hydraulic lift oil (STENHØJ)
