We always had stainless steel bumpers on dyane and DAK. I guess, akadiane was expensive to produce and that is why painted cheep bumper was fitted.

I found this Dak over a 2CV friend .

- I ask my friend ( he is car painter ) to come to me and inspect my Dak. And he agree that he will do a paint job on it (this days it is hard to find car painter to do Citroen A series )
- yesterday I make a call to my other 2cv friend and he will sell (60 eur)to me a two complete side panels for DAK. New parts, saved from ex Cimos factory in Koper .

That is a very good news for me and my DAK. After this holidays I will start to work on it so that at the end of April body can go to painter. And I hope in June it will be finished. That is the plan.

Now I am collecting money for DAK... Sold today my old Tomos 2cv6 from 1973.

New side panels for DAK is in my garage now.

Yesterday I started with restoration of my DAK. It is going to be a lot of painful work on it but...





Front part of dyane is finished. To much rust and as I have one other front part of dyane I will change complet front.

Engine is out...





This is how floors of Dak was made (there is some patches that is not original...) ... no ribs, simple thin metal with place for bigger springs. 1 millimeter thickness.
