Little to be found about this cooperation between Tomos and Citroën...

Here is some information but most of the information I can find isn't in English. Does anybody know how many of the A-types that Cimos produced still exist?

For the start I can tell you that 90 % of all A and G series cars in Slovenia and other ex YU countries is from Tomos factory and Cimos factory. In 1986 a 250 bordo-black Charlestons was inported and few grey charlestons was put in RENTACAR car park of Kompas turist agency.

It is hard to find figures how many A serie cars is on the road this days. Mostly beacouse owners drives this cars only from spring to late October. Than they park in garages and return license plates. Last number of registered A serie cars was 700 in Slovenia.

And there is no information how many cars was produced in period from 1961 to 1985.

But we know some facts. And as soon as possible I will make here a little presentation .

I'm quite interested, this year i'll be a lot in those regions and i'm considering to go after a Dak there....

i got 2 x Dak vans in bits (Cimos built Acadyane ) But Better in that its more ugly!! and rusts even quicker !! and a third bodyshell on the way

Here in my village we got about 10 dak vans all in variable condition and i am working on a way to make them 4x4!!!

most of the vans are still working for a living
and i reckon they built more than 10,000 of them as the chassis no i have is high 8000

Lots of them in Orange seems the GSA got the same shit paint job!!

The chassis is AK 400 modified
